Katia has the courage of an extraordinary woman. Pepita opened her own wool business in the middle of the Spanish Civil War - a strong woman who was ahead of her time and fought for her dreams even in the toughest of times. She convinced her husband Ramon to set up a yarn company, which her sons helped to grow despite major challenges. Today, grandsons and granddaughters are the third generation to carry on the family legacy and have made Katia one of Europe's most beloved needlework brands.

From Barcelona, their yarns now reach over 50 countries - not as a conquest, but as an invitation to a worldwide community of needlework lovers. Katia understands that knitting, crocheting and sewing are more than hobbies, they are well-being for body and soul.
