It was civil war in Spain when Pepita Vila decided that dreams are stronger than fear. In Manresa, a small town near Barcelona, she opened her yarn shop in 1936 – not despite the hard times, but precisely because of them. "As long as people need hope," she must have thought, "they will also want to create something beautiful." From this courage, Katia was born, and over 70 years later, her grandchildren continue this determination.

Ingenua is Pepita's legacy in fiber form. 78% mohair – the soul of the yarn, long, silky, with that incomparable shimmer. 13% polyamide for durability, 9% virgin wool for warmth. But above all: the courage to dare something new. This yarn is light as a promise and warm as a hug.
