Über Walk Collection
Walk Collection began where the best stories are born: in a kitchen full of dreams. Cathrin Walk, a biologist, business economist and fashion tailor, dyed her first skeins of wool between diapers and family dinners - until no one wanted to wait until the last trace of dye residue had disappeared. What began as an emergency solution for a young mother became a passion that now reaches the world from Aschaffenburg: from Iceland to New Zealand, from Japan to Hawaii.
Since 2013, the one-woman kitchen revolution has grown into a five-person team that creates new color collections every year. They find their inspiration everywhere: in the winter forest, in urban architecture, in the neon lights of nightlife - colors that are modern and timeless at the same time. Each skein is still dyed by hand, an intensive process that takes time but is the only way to produce the color qualities that knitters around the world love. At Walk Collection, wool is not only dyed, but filled with life - because true beauty is created where passion meets craftsmanship.
