Description
A yarn that weaves past and future together – soft, enduring, and full of life. Tweedy carries small colorful memories within and transforms them into new favorite pieces.
Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy is a yarn with soul – a thread that tells stories. Every stitch carries a small piece of sustainability, as Tweedy is made from 50% soft Falkland merino wool, 37.5% recycled wool, and 12.5% colored thread remnants from yarn production. These tiny specks, shimmering like colorful memories in the thread, come from yarn scraps lovingly collected and reprocessed. This creates a yarn that not only looks beautiful but also treats resources with care.
Tweedy is soft, warm, and lively – a yarn with character. The colorful flecks give your knitted pieces depth and a distinctive, handcrafted charm. After washing, it gently blooms, becomes even more supple, and reveals its full beauty – perfect for shawls, sweaters, cardigans, scarves, or favorite pieces that will accompany you for a long time.
Each ball is a small unique piece, just as individual as your project. The color palette ranges from calm, nature-inspired tones to modern shades, interspersed with cheerful color spots. With Tweedy, you hold a yarn in your hands that unites creativity, sustainability, and joy in craftsmanship.
