Just like the Cheeky Merino Joy, this yarn is also extremely soft organic merino wool that is fair to animals and the environment. Knitting and wearing the finished piece is pure enjoyment. Of course, this yarn is also compatible with the Cheeky Merino Joy from Rosy Green!
Since our individual dyeing process invalidates the original GOTS certification, it is omitted here. However, the principles of fairness towards animals and the environment still apply - just without renewed official confirmation.

This yarn is something very special for us. It is our first own yarn!
As the name suggests, it is based on the Cheeky Merino Joy from Rosy Green. We tried and searched for a long time - we love the Cheeky Merino Joy and we know that many yarn enthusiasts out there are crazy about it too. However, what we really wished for were some stunning colors to complement the original range. We managed to bring in a real color professional: Franziska Uhl. She was just as excited about the idea as we were, and the experimenting began. After a short time, the first stunning results came about, which you can see here.
One thing has quickly become clear: it really takes a color professional for this job. Depending on the color, up to 20 dyeing processes - of course by hand - are necessary to achieve these results due to the nature of the "raw yarn". But as you can see, it was worth it.
Info: As you can see, some of the colors have "Melange" in their name. This means that these dyes are based on gray strands. This allows for a somewhat more special coloring.
Please note: Depending on your screen settings, the colors displayed may differ from the actual colors. Since this is a hand-dyed yarn, it may naturally occur that not all strands are exactly the same. But that's what gives hand-dyed yarn its charm!
